- Sue McKendry Review added: 2018.06.26★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆M father's hearing aid warranty has recently been transferred to Claritas and we really hoped they would be better than the previous people. No such luck. His hearing aid has never really worked properly and has not been replaced, despite being under warranty.
Last week he had to post it back as it wasn't working and the door for the battery had fallen off. It arrived back this morning with the door replaced but the hearing aid still not working. He is sending it straight back, having spoken to a very pleasant lady and explained the issue.
If it isn't fixed this time I will really have to think in terms of taking this further, maybe to Trading Standards to ask for help getting the hearing aid replaced with a new one given that it is within warranty and is not fit for purpose.
Please Claritas, lets see some great customer service and give an old man back the pleasure of being able to enjoy conversations with his friends.
2 days later. I was promised a call back from a manager today. So far no call back. REALLY UNIMPRESSED. Looks like I'm back on the phone tomorrow and if I can't get a proper response this is going to become rather unpleasant. Sad but I don't know what else to do to get my widowed father some level of enjoyment back. Currently he struggles to watch TV or engage in any social interaction because of never ending issues with his hearing aid. How would Claritas owners feel if the were 78 and locked in such a lonely existence!
Finally got there. Hearing aid that was faulty almost from Day 1 has been replaced and is working fine so far. Just such a pity it took so long to get it sorted. Thank you to everyone involved.
